PCT is the certification mark of GOST, inRussian (Государственныйобщесоюзныйстандарт).On December 27, 2009, Russia passed the Technical Regulations on the Safety ofLow Voltage Equipment, which will come into effect on December 31, 2010. Thismeans that Russia will implement a new system of GOST R certification.
Thetechnical regulations are similar to the European Low Voltage Directive (LVD),which regulates electrical equipment with nominal voltages of 50-1500 V DC and50-1000 V AC (up to 1000 Hz).Including household appliances, lighting products,consumer electronics products, computers, office equipment, power tools,motors, wires and cables, batteries, power supply, low-voltage complete sets ofequipment, household automatic controller, connectors and other low-voltageequipment. The certificate is valid for 5 years.
Attention:
All products that arecertified after 2010-12-27 will need to use the new GOST certification label.Theareas to be marked are: product label (mandatory), product manual (mandatory),product packaging (optional).
The new mandatoryregulations require DOC compliance certificate applications to be madeavailable to local agents, distributors, and branches.
The certificate appliedbefore 2010-12-27 maintains validity until the certificate is invalid. Thecertificate is valid for 3 years.
All products certified afterDecember 27, 2010 can only use the new mark, and products certified beforeDecember 27, 2010 still use the old mark.
If the old mark iscompulsory CoC products must also be issued license agency code, etc., afterthe application of new mark, do not put the agency code
